Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film usually that are in the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with the genre. She began her reviews in the latter half of 2009, and when she began to gain some recognition (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of Channel Awesome's family. The channel was online until 2015, at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She started reviewing films in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining fame through channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the reviewers of the channel's family. Her appearances have included a variety in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
